The State Archives held an all day genealogy conference on Saturday, June 23. Among the topics the Archdiocese of New Olreans records with a talk by Dr. Charles Nolan. Doug Harrison talked about conservation and preservation and gave us tips on storing our valuable records at home. Watch out for humidity, light damage and pesky critters.
