"The Heroes of Harding Field”

William A. Spedale, author and historian, will discuss the air base at Harding Field in Baton Rouge during World War II. He will give his own eyewitness account of activities and crashes at the base during the period 1941-1945, and describe how he tracked down and interviewed most of the veterans who served at the base during that period. If you were in Baton Rouge at that time, bring your stories – and photos if you have them – to share with the Society during Q&A.
