Maps at Bluebonnet Regional Library, Baton Rouge

The Bluebonnet library has about 400 historical maps that can help with genealogical research. The three keys that help with finding your ancestors includes: who, when and where. The 'where' is an important key. Keeping research fruitful means knowing how boundaries change over time. while ancestors might be one county in later history, that county may have been part of another county in earlier times.
