African American Research Classes

The Bluebonnet Library Genealogy collection houses an impressive array of resources. If you haven't been there, grab your files and get going! The collection focuses mostly on the southern states but books, microfilm and periodical resources cover almost all states. The Bluebonnet Library staff hosts a number of classes that are great for beginner to intermediate researchers. The staff librarian, Cassandra Fedrick, is willing to take appointments for in depth research issues. Her consultations can help with strategy, organization, specialty research problems and brick wall brainstorming. She teaches many of the classes offered and this month's focus is on African American research in honor of Black History month. See the schedule below:
Feb 16th, 1:00 p.m. Pride Branch
Feb. 25th 10:30 a.m. Bluebonnet Branch
Feb 25th, 3:00 p.m. Baker Branch
