Do's and Don'ts to Preserving Family Heirlooms

The BRGHS presents, Doug Harrison, Conservator, LA State Archives who will speak on "Keeping the Old New Again.” His talk will cover important do’s and don’ts for the preservation of historic and older items such as photographs, legal documents, Bibles, and other paper items. Mr. Harrison is responsible for conserving items at State Archives. The meeting is at the Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library 9200, Bluebonnet Blvd., Baton Rouge. The meeting starts at 10 a.m. Light refreshments will be served.
